Final Friday Event at the Turkish House

A Lifetime of Photography

Helmut Brunar

The Turkish House | 303 E Durham Rd, Cary

Friday, February 22 | 6 – 8:30 p.m.

Austrian photographer Helmut Brunar, currently residing in Raleigh, has been a photography enthusiast for many decades. Having traveled extensively, he has had numerous opportunities for picture-taking across five continents. His pursuits produced tens of thousands of images, some of which were shown in 2013 and 2014 exhibitions. Now he proposes to share more of his work, aimed at encouraging people with similar interests to apply and improve their camera skills. He says, “photography should be fresh, unpretentious, accessible to all, and devoted to showing the beauty of the world we live in”.

Organized by the American Turkish Association of North Carolina (ATA-NC). Sponsored in part by the Town of Cary Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Department.
