Description: This collection of watercolor paintings showcases the beauty and variety of The Outer Banks, NC captured from memories of a trip in July 2024. Many of these were painted ‘en plein air’ with a few larger paintings created from photo references after the trip. I endeavored to expressively capture the variety and essence of the place I experienced while maintaining a similar vantage point over the course of a week. I was able to see the many changes in the colors and scenery due to weather, time of day, variety of wildlife and people. www.staciasstudio.com
